Make sure it’s 7 of ’em! Then, get a 1 gallon, glass jug with a lid (Sun Tea containers work great!). Oh, you’ll also need some duct tape, a dish towel and a group of party people! Almost ready. Just a few more things….
Tequila Lemonade, AKA Scuba Juice:
Tequila (750 ml should do it, but get a 5th, just in case!)
7 juicy lemons
Lots of Ice
1 cup of sugar
1 gallon glass jug, with lid (Sun Tea Containers work great)
Duct tape
Dish towelFirst, cut seven lemons in half and squeeze juice into glass container. Toss in the 4 or 5 of the halved lemons also.
Next, pour sugar into jug and pack full of ice. Pour in tequila until ice starts melting. Add additional ice and pour more tequila until almost full. Close container and wrap with towel. Tape towel around glass and make sure lid is secure.
Time to shake!
House Rules:
1. Everyone must shake!
2. Jug cannot be opened until 30 minutes is up.
3. If you don’t shake, you don’t drink!
4. If you drink, you must eat! Scuba Juice will sneak up on you
5. MOST important ~ Smile! Life is good, even with lemons!COST: Who cares! Sometimes it’s just about fun!
GRAND TOTAL: Happy Cinco de Mayo!
